Led by top female coaches and ECB Level 4 masters, we combine tailored technical coaching, supportive squad camaraderie, and competitive league play.

Girls' cricket is the fastest-growing sector of the sport, but too often girls are treated as an afterthought in traditional club setups. At Old Haberdashers CC, our Girls' Academy is built with equal funding, equal pitch access, and dedicated coaching staff from day one.
We create an environment where girls build lasting friendships, develop high-level athletic confidence, and progress at their own speed. Through ECB dual-age guidelines, girls have the flexible option to play in dedicated girls-only fixtures, open mixed teams, or both.

Girls' Junior Beginners
Year 3 – Year 4 • 90 Mins
- Focus:Fun, agility, hand-eye coordination & foundational softball skills
- Structure:High-energy movement games, basic bowling mechanics & tee-striking using light softballs
The Academy Commitment
Safe, pressure-free softball environment designed to build core athletic movement, fundamental skills, and confidence.
Girls' Softball Squads
Year 3 – Year 6 • 90 Mins
- Focus:Incrediball pairs matchplay, equal involvement & core technical mechanics
- Structure:Bowling precision, front-foot drives, overarm fielding & fast-paced pairs matches
The Academy Commitment
Guaranteed equal batting, bowling, and fielding rotations in every session and match—zero bench culture.
Girls' Hardball Performance Squads
Year 7 – Year 12 • 2 Hours
- Focus:Advanced hardball technique, video analysis & athletic conditioning
- Structure:30m high-intensity athletic fielding, 60m net scenarios & 30m strength & conditioning

36-Week Year-Round Base
Winter indoor net training inside the premier sports halls at Haberdashers' Boys' School in Elstree, moving to grass squares at Habs and Croxdale Road in summer.
Flexible Equipment Setup
Softball stages require zero heavy pads (all softballs and plastic bats provided). Hardball stages utilize full protective gear with expert equipment sizing guidance from our female coaching team.
Competitive League Action
Entry into the Hertfordshire Girls' Junior League alongside options to feature in open midweek fixtures.
